The work centered around refreshing the brands for Fannie May and The Popcorn Factory, both then owned by 1800 Flowers. Both brands were in desperate need of a visual makeover, especially the catalogs and photography style. Relying on historical and legacy visual assets, the approach focused on two areas. First, simplification of design systems, from type to color to layout guidelines. Second, creation of a process for seasonal themes that established clear guidelines for product line integration, design direction and photography art direction.
